Do you believe that learning can change lives and create new opportunities for people in your community?
The Learning Facilitator certificate, certified by the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany, is a six-month, practice-oriented blended program worth 20 ECTS. It is designed for you if you want to support learners, strengthen education in your community, and create learning spaces where everyone feels respected, included, and encouraged to succeed.
In this program, you will learn how to understand the needs of different learners and communities. You will explore how to plan meaningful learning activities, use inclusive teaching methods, communicate with learners from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, use digital tools for education, and give constructive feedback.
A central part of the program is your Educational Project Work. This means that you will not only learn about education in theory. You will work on a real educational need in your own context. First, you will observe your community and identify a meaningful learning challenge. Then, you will design a teaching unit or educational intervention that responds to this need. Finally, you will implement it with real learners and reflect on what worked, what was difficult, and what you learned as a facilitator.
This program is a good choice for you if you are ready to learn actively, reflect on your own practice, support diverse learners, and challenge barriers that make education difficult for some people. You do not need to see teaching only as giving information. In this program, facilitation means listening, guiding, encouraging participation, and helping learners become more confident.
To apply, you need to be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma, and have English at B1 level. This program is especially suitable for people who want to support learning in their communities, including future educators, facilitators, community leaders, and applicants who are already involved in educational work. Because this is a blended program and includes online learning, you also need regular access to a device such as a notebook/laptop, tablet, or smartphone. What matters most is your commitment to education, inclusion, community development, and creating learning opportunities for others.
