Do you want to learn how people of different faiths and beliefs can work together to build peaceful, respectful, and inclusive communities?
The Interreligious Cooperation for Peace certificate, awarded by Globethics, Switzerland, is a six-month blended program designed for learners who want to promote dialogue, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence among people from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.
In this program, you will explore how different faith traditions can coexist peacefully and ethically. You will learn about interreligious dialogue, cultural identity, conflict transformation, and the importance of respect and empathy in building relationships across religious and social differences. The program will help you understand how faith communities can contribute to peacebuilding and social cohesion in today's diverse world.
You will complete three courses: Interreligious for cooperation Part A: Religious studies, Interreligious for cooperation Part B: Cultural studies, and Interreligious for cooperation Part C. Through guided learning activities, discussions, reflections, case studies, and practical assignments, you will develop the skills needed to engage in meaningful dialogue, address misunderstandings, and create opportunities for cooperation among people with different beliefs. You will also strengthen your ability to listen, communicate respectfully, and serve as a bridge between communities.
By the end of the program, you will be better prepared to foster trust, encourage constructive dialogue, and promote peaceful cooperation among people of different faiths and backgrounds. You will gain the confidence to become a bridgebuilder who helps transform differences into opportunities for understanding and collaboration.
No theological background is required. To apply, you must have successfully completed the JWL Peace Leader Course, possess English proficiency at B1 CEFR level, have completed high school, and be 18 years of age or older. Because this is a blended program, you also need regular access to a device such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone to participate in online learning activities, complete assignments, and communicate with facilitators and fellow learners.
