This 6-month professional certificate program trains refugee and host community facilitators to create, manage, and sustain youth sports programs in marginalized communities. Eligibility Requirements

• Completion of all 11 courses in the CLS or Pre-STEM certificate program.
• B2 level in Linguaskill Writing (English proficiency). Can retake test if needed.
• Eligibility by study location (check with your Coordinator for accepted centers/camps).

Application Process & Required Steps

1. Coordinators publish tentatively eligible student list and contact each candidate.
2. Students who wish to apply must confirm their willingness with the coordinator to proceed.
3. Admission Steps for Interested Students:
   • Write a supervised, handwritten one-page essay. The coordinator will provide the official question (see brochure for approved topics).
   • Take the Linguaskill Writing B2 assessment under coordinator supervision. Retakes allowed if necessary.
   • Submit all supporting documents (as per checklist in brochure).
4. Coordinator uploads all documents (essay, test score, forms) to the JWL/SLU portal.
5. Student completes the BAGS application online using the official SLU link (link supplied in the brochure and by your coordinator).
6. Monitor email for admissions decision and further instructions.
7. Admitted students register for courses as per SLU onboarding instructions.

Essay Requirement

Each applicant must write a one-page, supervised essay answering an official question provided by the coordinator.
The list of approved essay topics/questions is provided in the program brochure and will be given to you by your coordinator at essay time.
